threading harmful???

Question

Assalam o alikum (peace on u)
I want to know that threading is ok for removing hairs from upper lip and lower lip (chin). Or it create some negative effects if this done regularly. Is there any other best way to remove such hairs? Other than laser treatment or hair removal creams
Also is there any research done on effects of threading on face especially

wa alaikom salaam, wa rahmatullah, wa barakatuh
it is permissible to use threading, waxing, shaving in order not to appear like a man. Shaving might be the best method, since there is no damage to the underlying structures of the hair follicles. bleaching is recommended over removal.

Taking the hadith and the various statements of the Hanafi jurists into consideration the following could be concluded:

1. It would be permitted for a woman to remove a beard or a moustache that appears on her face. Even though it is facial hair, but since it is to stop women from resembling men, it is permitted. This is the opinion of the majority of scholars, in fact they have said it is recommended, not just permitted. The same will be to bleach this hair instead.

I dont know if there has been any research done on threading but i do know that women have been threading for years and years.
I think it will only give you a rash if you have sensitive skin...otherwise go for it. Its quick and easy.

isn't threading, like waxing? if waxing is safe, then threading is safer because you're not using anything but the thread.
