Honestly , I dint think one has anything to do with the other they are both separate entities of there own, Poor people face discrimination no matter what nationality they are just looked down on as dirty or low, Think about the cast system of India ,there all the same nationality but there social -economic status determines there self worth. Poverty is a form of hatred by those who ungrateful enough not to realize they are blessed and lend a hand to those who have less. I doubt a person would give to a white homeless man before a black or Hispanic one if that where the case there would be no more white homeless men because they would be taken care of , the fact that they are perceived lazy or lowly is what brings about the hate red in arrogant and ignorant people, Hate red comes in many a forms as long as the earth existed we humans found all sorts of reasons to try and find superiority over others . Pretty Vs Ugly, ,Rich Vs Poor ,Nationality VS Nationality ,Religion VS Religion etc. etc. I am not sure if you have a religious background or not but The devil before being cast down from Heaven vowed to keep us separate as God's chosen creation and implement all sorts of jealousy between man, seems to have worked so far on those of little understanding. Good Question Thank You for todays brain food

I don't stereotype people. I have many different friends of many different races that are "well to do"... it all depends on the person.
