Does someone have to been a medium to have a Ouija board work? My friends and I use it occasionally and when they try to do it without me it doesn't move at all! So now they say that they need me there to do it and say that I have medium abilities.... what do you think?

No, you don't have to possess 'medium' talents, one needs only an open mind. Spirituality is real. Its been with humanity for as long as we've existed. Skeptics use labels which are borne from ignorance - as opposed to stupidity - to suppress what they do not understand nor accept. Your friends may simply be skeptics. I would say enjoy your celebrity but use caution. In the words of Werner Erhard (aka John Rosenberg of est); you are responsible for everything that happens to you. And H.P. Lovecraft wrote; Enter with child-like faith into this mysterious adventure, but also be prepared to cope with whatever you find! I'm sure Alan Watts and L.Ron Hubbard, to one degree or another, would agree. Happy travels!

Actually, Ouija boards are simply a toy. That's why they say Parker Brothers on the side. They merely respond to minute finger movements you are not aware of making due to your own subconscious mind.
As far as medium abilities, I don't think I believe in that. Too many "misses", not enough "hits". Some people may have better intuition than most, but that certainly doesn't qualify one as a medium.

I believe it is possible for anyone to do it as long as they have an open mind when it comes to connecting to the spirit world. It is possible that you have a more open mind than your friends and it is easier for communications to come through you.
Ouija Boards are divination tools and do work even if they come out of a box that says "Parker Brothers" on it. It doesn't matter where the divination tools comes from, it matters who is using it. The same holds true for other divination tools such as tarot cards, pendulums, scrying mirrors, or crystal balls. All can be used for the same purpose and their origin is irrelevant.
As far as them being evil, that also is not true. Those are just "scare tactics" thrown around by Christians because the Christian religion does not believe in the use of divination tools.

Do I think the board works?
No.
Why?
B/c toymakes produce the product and I don't believe in demon possestion but I do think it's exiciting to see that subjuct in movies.
What do I think of the people who say such things about the boards?
I think they havn't ever tried it themselves are just being gullible sheep believing what others tell them.

No.
Why?
B/c I think u would have seen ghosts or something trying to talk to you before this experience if u were one.

Ouija boards are dangerous in amateurs hands. They can open doors that let evil spirits in. I'd advise against using it unless you have someone experienced in that kind of thing there w/ you.

I don't want to disappoint you, but the Ouija board is a parlor game, and has no "mystical" powers.
Mediums (media?) are either deluded or outright frauds.

supposedly the devil controls the Oujia bord and makes you believe there are ghosts telling you things, and while you do this evil spirits channel in the earth! Haven't you seen the EXORCIST? Stop using the damn thing NOW!
