you can get some iron on transfer paper from a stationery shop and print the letters on to it from a computer then just iron them onto your t shirt. i did this last year for my friends hen night, its much cheaper and easier then taking it to a proper t shirt shop

if you're intent of doing them yourself, then hobbycraft is the best place to go
but if you wanna get them printed, ask your local snappy snaps for a quote, they are cheaper than you'd think and can be made entirely to your requirements (and with cut out letters too). and it's going to be a lot less hassle for you...
