just bought one from argos,in the book it says may need a little welding to fit it...
went to do the fitting and it needs loads of welding,anyone else had the same problem..

l take it from your question you don't really have a clue about cars do you. Big Bore why? you may should like a truck but you'll loose a lot of power, you see that little bit of steel pipe fitted to cars etc is shaped to help produce back pressure which all goes to help with BHP. Best to spend your money on mechanics lessons first then you'll understand. I also take it this may be to impress your mates?

On an exhaust system, you have to make sure that all leaks are sealed with welding. If you can't do the welding yourself, take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it on. If your vehicle is later model, it will have a O2 sensor on it that will affect your performance if it is not reading properly due to an exhaust leak.

Why would you buy it from argos in the 1st place!
Take it back and go to a proper shop and get it done right 1st time.
If you have a small car (1.1-1.6) then its pointless putting one on. YOU'LL LOOSE POWER! there wont be enough combustion within the exhasut to give more power so you'll just loose it! If ya wont noise just get an air filter, much beeter sound than them horrid things

i might wanna watch some previous cartoons that don't fairly air anymore, or i've got watched all the previous ones (have confidence it or not, i've got finished that. I used to observe a good number of television lol) Like Tom and Jerry, the previous one is purely great, and that i've got watched 'em all. i don't basically like the extra recent version of them :/ Dexter's Laboratory or Powerpuff females do not air anymore around right here, I pass over them. Such cartoons have been my little ones :')

No never had a problem but then I wouldnt put one of those ignorant things on my car. Why would I want to wake up my neighbours with that noise? Why would you?
