I'm looking to find a cabin rental for next weekend hopefully. I want to go skiing with about 5 or 6 friends (I've never been skiing), and I do not know where to look to find accomadations. Can anybody lead me to a website or recommend some good lodging sites!

Well, I live in the Poconos. The best places to stay are out of the way. And expensive. Not many cabin rentals, however individual ski areas do have a few. Avoid Penn Hills. There are a few Bed and Brekfast's up Route 447 north in Canadensis, close to Alpine Ski Area, and about 25 minutes from Downtown Stroudsburg. I wish I could give you specific names of the B&B's. I do not reccomend staying in Stroudsburg or Tannersville area, simply because its very touristy. Go out of the way and discover the REAL Poconos. Have fun in our area :)
