I just signed up for Road Runner at the Time Warner building, they gave me the home installation kit and I set everything up perfectly. My cable modem is on and running, all the lights are blinking, my icon at the bottom says I'm 100% connected, all firewalls are off, I've power-cycled the modem and restarting my computer a hundred times. I even went so far as buying a new network adapter and re-installed the operating system. I've done everything. But when I open the Internet browser, it doesn't connect. Anyone know the problem?

I'm a "Computer Guy" this could be 100 things that are hard to trouble shoot in one answer. Make sure you are set for DHCP go to start, run type in cmd then the command ipconfig /all and make sure it says DHCP yes. Also check to see you are getting out in the command prompt type ping www.yahoo.com and make sure you get a response.

it could be your browser.if u have access to another computer go to download.com and put the installer for mozilla firefox on a disc and install it in your computer.firefox is a really good secure browser and it's easy 2 use.the guy who said type in ipconfig is probably right, but you should go to the start menu and click on run then type ipconfig

The only one that can help with your problem is your provider. Call Time Warner customer service and have them go through everything with you step by step.
