I just signed up for Road Runner at the Time Warner building, they gave me the home installation kit and I set everything up perfectly. My cable modem is on and running, all the lights are blinking, my icon at the bottom says I'm 100% connected, all firewalls are off, I've power-cycled the modem and restarting my computer a hundred times. I even went so far as buying a new network adapter and re-installed the operating system. I've done everything. But when I open the Internet browser, it doesn't connect. Anyone know the problem?

Go to internet options in control panel click on tools, then connections . check mark box never dial a connection, then at the bottom right corner of window click on lan check the box automatically detect network settings. Hope this helps.

RoadRunner sucks. I have it and never use it. The email there doesn't work. I have sent myself emails from yahoo to RR and never get them at RR. My advice is stick to yahoo. I have RR just to sign up for the internet conection. Once I got it I changed my home page to yahoo and got a free yahoo email. I've tried contacting RR about the problem with my email there, but they won't talk to me... I guess they don't like yahoo!
