Whew! Big List here.
Main fuses,
Bad cable,
Bad connection.
Bad Starter (probably not)
Get a manual and look for the main fuses under the hood not the ones inside. Sounds like a fusable link has gone out.

You can buy a bad battery! I did, not long ago. Walmart assured me it was charged and ready to go. I put the battery charger on it for an hour, tried again, nothing. Took it back, changed it out, got another one, car started right up. I don't know about every car, but that is how you reset the computer in most, by disconnecting the battery for 12 minutes or more. You may have an electrical short some where, or you may have a starter, starter switch, key switch, electrical connector, too many to list electrical parts that could have gone out that is keeping it from starting up. You'll have to go over all the wiring if you can't find anything else, checking each wire, connector, fuse. There is also a fuse box under the hood on lots of vehicles, check those too. Good Luck!

I would check the ground ( negative ) wire real good and make sure it is connected to the body as well as the engine.Very important . Sometimes if installing a new battery and we accidently hook the cables up backwards then a fuse will blow. Should be a fuse under the hood. Try starting the vehicle in neutral or set the shift into park again to get a good connection with the internal neutral switch. If an alarm is present then it can shut down a system but should not affect the headlights. A new battery can be bad.
