Cycles can take more than 6 months to regulate after the pill.

Also, it's normal to sometimes have a shorter or longer cycle for whatever reason.

It's also possible you ovulated earlier than you though. Charting your fertility signs can make a huge difference in your knowledge. It can accurately tell you when you ovulated and when to expect your next period. It can help you conceive or avoid conception. Especially if you're coming off the pill, I highly recommend charting.

Some good sources: Fertilityfriend.com (free software as well as a pay-for version and on-line charting turorial); ovusoft.com (discussion boards for many fertility related issues, much info on fertility after the pill, and a very good software for purchase). The books Taking Charge of Your Fertility (associated w/ the the ovusoft website and software) and Garden of Fertility.

Mine had always been regular, but then I had to take prednisone(steroid) for a sinus surgery in October, November was regular, December 2 days early, January 4 days early, and this cyle is a day late. So could be medication if you have taken any.

3 days early is really no big deal, no ones body is always 100% regular all the time, don't worry about it

Your cycle needs to regulate itself now that it is not controlled by the hormones from the pill. It took about 6 months for me.
