So I ordered a laptop from Dell on Saturday (1/27/2007) and the status says shipped on 1/31/2007 and the estimated delivery date would be today 2/1/2007. But then I looked up my tracking number on UPS.com and it said that it was shipped today and would be delivered by tomorrow. So, which one is it? Do I get it today or tomorrow. When I looked at the tracking number it said as of today at 7:00 am it was in Nashville Tennessee. Anyone else have the same problem happen to them, and when did they recieve there computer. When do you guys think I will have my computer?! It's just for curiosity, I am very anxious to get my NEW laptop... Thank you everybody!

Things like this happen all the time.

You should consider the information UPS gave you to be more accurate; i.e., its coming tomorrow. The date Dell gives you is just an estimate; the date UPS gave you comes from the fact that they actually know where the package is and when they intend to move it.

It takes maximum 2 days for the workstation to be custom in accordance on your needs. And might take yet another 4-7 days to be delivered to you. I have been given mine on 8th working day after ordering it.

Dell's date is an estimate - meaning their best guess. UPS actually has it in their hands and knows on which day they will be delivering it. So odds are you will have to wait until tomorrow for it to actually arrive at your house.
