Windows Movie Maker is a better application than Power Point if you want Music in the Background, but if you just want little sound clips for each slide, then Powerpoint would be better.

You might want to check your computer to see if you have Powerpoint, before you go trying to download more.
Powerpoint will give you what you need and more for slideshow operations.

Macromedia Flash MS is the best out there for me. You can use MS PowerPoint for basics but Flash can maybe help you animate more stuff. You can even save the file and upload it up to YouTube.
Run a search for tutorials, it should help as well.

you should be able to use windows movie maker which come standard with winxp, if you dont have that just go to download.com and under search type slideshow maker or something to that effect.
