my guppy fish has been missing for 5 days now.
i dont see a corpse so i suppose it is still alive.
this one likes hiding on the corals but somehow...even when i moved the corals,it is still not there.
i have 9 neons,5glowlights and 2 guppies with it.
i dont see my big guppy anymore?
i dont have aggressive fish so i dont think it got eaten and it the biggest guppy in tha tank and can defend itself.
any suggestions why it is missing?

probably stuck inside rocks or the corals you have..if you have any.
you said you have other fish so i suppose they are picking on this one if it is small and it probably hid in the rocks or corals ,got stuck, and had its tomb there.
just kidding
but im serious.
it probably got stuck.

I would guess it jumped out, check all around the tank for a dead fish, thats what happened to my danio. Are there animals in your home that ate it, dogs or cats maybe. Another possibility is it is on or in the filter, my guppies got stuck on it untlil I put them in a different tank with a smaller filter. Or that it died, and your other fish ate its rotting corpse, I see it all the time at Walmart sadly.

If it is not on the floor around the tank, and you dont find him when you remove the plants and decorations. I would guess e is dead and got eaten by the other fish in the tank.

well, if it has been a few days you checked the tank since before you noticed he was missing, it could very well be that we has eaten before you seen it.

2 he could have died, gotten stuck to the filter, and sucked up bit by bit through the filter.

and yes if there is anyone else there with you, i would ask them if they noticed your "possible dead fish" and had the courtesy to expell them for you.

try taking the plants and rubbles out carefully as the guppy may actually just be hiding. or it may have jump out. try searching around your tank. or maybe it is dead. is there someone else with you there? may be he took the corpse out. try asking.
