Is the game out of the park baseball 2006 or even the new one 2007 which is being released soon have real lisenced team and people? Or are they just made up?

The demo of 2006 shows just made up people... is the real game got the real baseball players and teams etc?

I'm not sure about 2007 and their licensing situation, but I can tell you that 2006 and those that preceeded it (5.0, 6.5, etc.) all had fictional players. However, there are several databases - check out the Lahman Database, or ARod 23 - that allow you to import historical players from any year or generation and start a "real" league from any point in history. I've used them, and they're very simple to download and set up.

I love OOTP, both as an online league game and to play solo. I'd recommend it - it's a great way to learn the ins and outs of managing both on the field and in the front office. Personally, I didn't like 2006, but I'm hoping 2007 has the bugs fixed.
