I used to have spyspotter and of course it was not free so I bought it and used it, it was really usefull, and now it's expired and don't want to renew licience or buy another one, but I do need such software, my PC is running slow, so if anyone has such one and willing to transfer it to me or know where I can find a free software such as on the web. your contribution will be appreciated.

http://www.lavasoft.com & http://www.avast.com are both FREE. lavasoft is *Spyare* as you put it, and Avast in a Virus protector. Both are great, I have used them for years

Real time protection free.
Scan for malwares in your pc for free.
Remove malwares that it found free.
Database and software update free.
And i have no problem with it. It wont slow down your pc.

You can use Lavasoft Adaware or Spybot. Both are free. Just google the net and you can download the installation files.
