My period is two days late today. Yesterday when I went to my OB/GYN and I took a pregnancy test , It was negative and he told me my period is late because my glucose level is high. Last year it was also high, but this didnot stop my period from coming. How can what he said be true?

two days is not a long time to wait to see if your pregnant,in future i would wait a little longer and not worry or anticipate that you are pregnant it's too stressful

The human works in an unusually way sometimes. I might be that ur body could cope with the high glucose then last year but this time it cant cope. Your period coming late is a sign that u should cut down on the sugar intake. Try this and its happens again Say after a few months, then see ur GP. He/She may have to refer u to a specialist.

I haven't heard that before. I don't know enough to say though.

If you're still late in a couple days, try testing again. Sometimes tests done in very early pregnancy can come up neg b/c there's not enough hormone built up in your system yet.
