When great battles were fought to end oppression an era of unimagined innovations followed. For thousands of years slavery existed. After the last battle to end that oppression, the children of those who fought for freedom could fly and soar in the heavens.
All through the history of man, good has won over evil. Why does America question itself today? Have you lost your belief in the greater power? Do you no longer feel God is on your side?

It is not a question of God being on our side. It is a question of us being on God's side. He is unchangeable, whereas we are always moving closer and farther from him.

Right now, we are very far from God. Large sections of our population support atrocities like abortion. Members of the church are even supporting homosexual marriage.

Our enemies call us the "Great Satan" and they are correct. We are not a Christian nation. Our entire culture is about sex, money, fame, and violence. With our technology and communications capability we could spread the message of God's love to every person on the planet. But instead, we spread nothing but our love of sin.

There are, of course, exceptions, but the majority of Americans are not Christian and care nothing for God or his plans. We are not on God's side, so why should we expect him to give us his blessings?

And now they are barking at Iran. There would never be world peace that way.

Kind of think of them as "The Sith" in Star Wars.

I have to think God is with us. Why would He not be?
But he is also with our enemies because he would forgive them if they repented. Since they are most likely not going to repent, I say the devil is with them.

Yes, and I call Him God. I still believe He rules. But remember, people have free will.

It is the people screwing everything up, and our loving God is allowing it for so long. And then no more.

How does this demonstrate a lack of faith? My faith has never been in people.
