If you think Islam will turn gays into straight then you sure do not know much. Many muslams are gay and you don't know it.

Islam is growing and most likely will for a while to come. I can not see any reason for anyone wanting to belong to Islam. Are people that much in need of something to control their lives.

That is one religion that does not allow the people to think. Sure not a good idea for the future of people.

Do I Fear Islam? No

It may be the fastest growing religion but it has a long way to go. Besides, having seen how Islam is all about violence, murder and death, if all else fails, I'll simply start returning the favour. Muslims aren't the only ones who can become insurgents you know. Threaten any man with violence and will return the favour, so by all means, try us, you'll find we are not as easy to defeat as you think. As the pink pistols motto says, Armed Gays don't get Bashed.

How do you figure? Christians have been trying that for the past few generations without any luck. I don't see where the popularity of a religion has anything to do with it. In fact, if a religion is hostile to a particular group, it's not likely to win over any converts there.

Considering the report I heard on NPR last night about the growing homosexual community's in countries the are Islamic(say Iran for example), I think you haven't been paying attention. While a danger to GLBT (not to mention women in general), Islam is simply a religion and considering the infighting between different sects, its no different than christianity.

NO. I'm not afraid of Islam, but I am afraid for all the poor people who are fooled into converting to it, or any religion that plays on peoples ignorance to control them.

it can be the fastest growing religion on the planet, but guess what? I am not going to convert to Islam. Even if I were, I am not going to change my lifestyle. So you are out of luck

No, "we" don't fear Islam.
Actually Paganism is growing faster than Islam.
You cannot and will not "convert" anyone against their will. To attempt to do so is the surest sign of a FALSE RELIGION. Any person or religious body that would attempt to force me to change against my will, will be fought with any and all means needed to protect myself, my loved ones, and my way of life.

I'm scared of the discrimination and human suffering that these types of oppressive religions put upon people, but you can't REALLY change a person's sexuality. Gay people might get so afraid of being stoned to death that they pretend to be straight, but that's as close as you'll get.

I think everyone is afraid of Islam right now, lol. Basically Islam is a stricter version of Judaism and Christianity, so they are more likely to disrespect or hate the gay community. Moreso than their Christian or Jewish counterparts.
