Yes, I can totally relate. I am 24 years old and have tried approx 3 different pills over the last say 6 years. Each one has made me moody, feel bloated, and a little sick tired and lethargic.

For the last 2.5 years I have worked on being healthy overall, including a balanced diet and exercise about 4 times a week, manage stress and as a result my period has become much more regular and managable.
I would also highly recommened EVENING PRIMROSE OIL. - it is a natural tablet that assists with PMS symptoms such as bloating, pain, & mood. My natraupath advises all females who encounter any problems with their periods.

All the best, and NO its not you, like many the pill just dosn't suit you - no big deal!

Been there, done that (unfortunately!). I was on the patch for about 6 months and I was a total b*tch the entire time. The hormones made me SO moody...it was terrible. After I stopped wearing them, I was back to normal. Everyone's body reacts differently to BC...you should try a different type and see if that helps.

been there. In a month taking bc, i got the worst migrane almost every week and passed out a couple of times. So i decided not to take it anymore. You could try other different bc beside the pills such as patch or Nuva ring, that might work for you. ask your doctor.

You may want to try a version that has less estrogen. That sometimes can help alleviate symptoms such as yours.
