Bodybuilding is a great way to strengthen your muscles, which also help your joints and cartilage (such as your knees, shoulders). As your muscles get stronger, it takes pressure off those joints. Also, working out is the best way to avoid injury if you play sports. Or even if you just long hours in the office, it helps avoid back pain (stonger back = less pressure on your back bones). It's very healthful. Yes it's possible to get injured. I tore a muscle once and had to quit for a few weeks. Don't listen to the people who say it's not aerobic exercise. As you age, nobody even notices you have big muscles.

Of course its not unhealthy, it makes you body strong. You just have to keep exercising when you get older to keep your body healthy (and strong). But if you don't it will all turn to fat. Trust me.

depends if you take steroids you are 99.9 per cent sure to get some sort of cancer scentifically proven also i used to take steroids now iv stopped its slowly turning to fat
