What can you do when it says it cannot be accessed because the parameters are incorrect?

It was working fine until one time it just wouldn't open anymore

You need to give me a little more information than that to get a good answer, but my guess is that there is a compatability problem because of the file system, or the drivers are incorrect. If you have different filesystems on your computers, then one or the other will have to be changed. NTFS, for example, often found in Windows XP, would not be compatable with, say Linux file systems, and may not even be compatable with Windows Fat16 or Fat32, which are often found on earlier Windows computers.
