See, I live in Chicago, where the low on Friday is going to be 5 degrees. Would it be okay to wear leggings under my jeans so I'm warmer? I get really cold on my leg and thigh area more than anywhere else on my body. Thanks!!!

I would wear leggings under my jeans, over my jeans then another pair of jeans on top of that to keep warm in that kind of weather.....whatever it takes to stay warm girl!!!

I wear Capilene from Patagonia every day during the winter, I am also from Illinois. Capilene is a very thin and lightweight long underwear and keeps you warm. I can wear it under almost anything. They are kind of expensive but I have some that I have worn every year for six years with no problems. You can find it at any outdoor clothing/camping store.

Yes darling, i do it myself as i get cold easily on my legs. Buy a thick one that will still be comfortable when worn with the jeans and you will feel a lot warmer when going out. Cheers.

I stay in Hamtramck. I used to dance. I've have many meny pair of leggings and stir up pants.
Right now I am wearing a pair of stirrup pants under my sweats. Keeping the cold out.

Sure you can wear leggings, but they may be resticting to wear. Try Cuddl Duds products they are great to wear under jeans or even dress pants., with a silky smooth outer and cotton inner they are great I wear them everyday when it's cold outside.

No, of course you can't wear leggins under jeans in Chicago. I heard it was illegal in that city. If a police officer were to find out he may have to write you a ticket.

Yes it's trashy to wear as pants. Not everyone looks good in leggings, especially if you have no booty. If you have a flat or out of shape booty it will look NASTY and nobody wanna see that!

It is ok to wear whatever you want especially when it's to keep you warm. It's under you clothes who will know. You might want to look into getting longjohn bottoms.
