personally it doesnt bother me, but some people really seem to hate them.

Which cars fly past you at mach 3 on a motorway? Which cars pull out in front of you at roundabouts etc? Which cars generally don't follow road rules?
OK so a lot of cars do all three but there always seems to be an incident with a BMW on EVERY journey. The regular offenders include BMWs AUDIs and FORD MONDEO/FOCUS.
That's where i live anyway. I think BMW drivers built a rod for their own back when originally they did itto show off that their car was better than anyone elses.
I'm a pretty placid driver so no offence intended to anyone but unfortunately the question states fact amongst many drivers.

When I am tailgated, by a car, 9 times out of 10 it's a BMW. I'm sure most BMW drivers are OK but I hate the ones I can see in my mirror.

BMWs are a popular car with sales reps. If you're given a 5-series, it means you're agressive enough to be a success, this aggressiveness transfers to driving. If you've got a 3-series it means you've missed your targets _again_, and need to clock up 50 sales calls for every sale, or you'll have your house reposessed. Hence driving up the backside of people in lane 3 on the motorway.

I used to own a BMW... The good thing about driving it was not only the lush car but people expect you to drive like a tit so you can get away with it!
Plus when i got out of it i got loads of stares off people thinking how does such a young person have that car?!

Hate? Na... Despise - somewhat. You people feel (with your spine because brain has no place in bmw) that you had spent a hell of a lot of money on poorly built, extremely unreliable, and otherwise disfunctional vehicle, and just can't stand it when others don't admire your stupidity. That's why you drive like arrogant jerks.

Some people say its cos they think there better than everyone cos they have a nice car, they also say its cos they think they own the road, but i think its just cos they ate jealous cos they drive s*itty cars.
