I do not know the existence of any medicine or miracle to remove shyness.
To remove hair go to cosmetics shop - without your mom.

I have the same problem but I don't wax, what I do is bleach them and they come out a nice pale blonde which blends in really well with my fair skin. But if you have darker skin, you may need a wax and I think your mom will be OK with it if you just explain to her that it makes you feel uncomfortable.
There are also cream hair removal kits in the stores, I have not used them but I hear they work pretty well, take a look on the box and see what it says for how long it will last.
If you get a waxing done that will last several weeks. I get my eyebrows waxed once a month or so, and then just pluck the stray ones between waxings.
Good luck to you!

There is a ton of products on the market that you can buy and do yourself at home. You can use a cream like Veet but make sure that you get one that is formulated for your face- don't use the same one you use on your legs! It will last for 1-2 weeks. You can also buy home waxing kits. Your results will last longer than Veet but your skin will be red for a couple of hours afterward. Another option is to bleach. Bleach is pretty pain free and quite simple to do.
Don't feel embarrassed to go to your mom. She will understand what you are going through.

Ah, a commen problem with dark haired girls! Your mom probably has this problem as well. Its a very simple fix. Try a Sally Hanson product, available at drug stores like CVS or Walgreens. I think Wal mart might sell it. Try Sally hansen Creme hair remover kit for the face, upper lip and chin. As far as telling your mom, is it more embarressing to talk to her about it, or go to school with a moustache? LOL. I started my two Italian daughters doing this right about the time they hit puberty or I noticed it. I wish moms would just teach their daughters how to solve this! But than again look at all the adult women walking around with hair on thier upper lips! Ladies do something about it! LOL

Don't feel shy with your mom. Your best and only friend is your mom. Tell her every thing that is there in your mind. Initially she may shout at you but she will understand the problem and definately support you and your feelings. Don't use any altu phaltu creams and spoil your skin.

See, if u get it done without telling ur mom it could be spot out by your mom.so its better to tell her rather than be in a situation when she questions you later...
If you have an elder sister, you can take help of her.
Or you could discuss with your friends about other creams or such.
But best option is to discuss directly with your mother,
even if it has small risk of getting some...

its nothing to worry about and you shouldnt feel shy, loads of people have facial hair and you will often find that it runs in your family it could just be a hormonal change too.
you can get bleaches for facial hairs
hair removing creams
waxing can be difficult and a bit hard to do by yourself until you get used to it and it can hurt if you take off the first layer of skin and you really dont want to end up with dry scabby skin over your lip id go for a moisturising removing cream and approach your mum over this good luck

Hello, you don't have to tell your mum about waxing your upper lip. But if its makes you feel better then have it waxed first before telling her. She will immediately love the neat appearance and might go with you for one herself.
Veet cold wax strips is good for beginners, its less painful than the other waxing products and also if you are doing it yourself. I hope this helps.
