Every now and then when I'm using my PC, the keyboard starts to work slowly. Insteadd of each letter working imediately, I have to pause between letters. This happens on the internet and in any local programme, word for instance. I've been told I could have a virus, but despite having Norton and AVG, I can't find anything. Anyone have any ideas about this??

Those are both anti-virus, you really should only have one. But what you do need is a few anti-spyware programs. Here are some free ones, do some scans http://www.basicspywaretips.com/spywareremovaltool.html

Im not sure about you but do you have any small children that uses the pc? Because I had the exact same problem myself, my kid did something wrong (pressed on the keys for two long!) So I system restored to a time when I didn't have this problem and that worked a treat for me! I hope this helps you in some way, just trying to give you some other ideas!

It'll usually be a PC problem rather than a keyboard problem. Norton isn't that reliable - it's best to switch to your provider's security package if you're worried about viruses.

Try going to control panel. If you are in Classic view, double click the icon "Keyboard" You can adjust the speed of the keyboard in there. If u are in category view of the control panel select "Printers & other Hardware" & then "Keyboard".

the main easiest thank you to resolve your concern is to purchase a clean keyboard while you're utilising a private pc pc. yet once you're utilising a laptop greater effectual deliver it to the provider center perhaps its keyboard controller is jammed.

In which case you may be running out of virtual memory - either increase the amount of virtual memory you can use, or put more memory in your machine.

MAYBE YOU NEED TO CLEAN UR KEYBOARD. DUST CAN MAKE KEYBOARD SLOW. PLEASE CLEAN. IF YOU CLEAN THAT BUT IT IS SLOW, REPAIR IT. MAYBE THERE IS AN OLD PROCESSOR IN YOUR KEYBOARD. IF YOU DONE ALL OF THAT, MAYBE IT IS IN YOUR PC.
