On paper, the Safari is both a better and cheaper vehicle than the scorpio for compareable models. It has a bigger engine and supposedly more torque. But on the road, the Scorpio has a lot more presence, has a responsive engine and is extremely nimble. It looks mean and butch, while the Safari looks old and dated. On the inside on the other hand, the Safari looks better, though the fit finish could use some improvement.

Definitely the Scorpio. The Safari handles poorly, has a lousy transmission and lots of maintenance headaches. Go for the Scorpio CRDE.

Mars in Scorpio and Pluto in Scorpio behave more like Scorpio than Sun sign Scorpio. This may be because Scorpio is ruled by two planets namely Pluto and Mars .
