I just watched a documentary about abortion. It was entitled "The Silent Scream" and I find it to be provocative. I once thought that you could just do it but the guilt within you would haunt you...

If you were pregnant "accidentally", would you consider it? why or why not?

Thanks for you answer...

I fell pregnant when my daughter was 18 months 'accidentally'. we were stupid enough not to be careful!
I must say the thought entered my mind only cos i was really worrying about how i'd cope, money was really tight and we had just been given an eviction notice on our home then!

I carried on with the pregnancy and went a gorgeous little boy!
When i delivered him, he wasn't breathing and the hopistal staff struggled to bring him back, but thankfully he did and is now fine!

I know a few people who have had abortions because they fell 'accidentally' and then fall pregnant 4 weeks later!
I have also been on some web site that shows abortions pics and vids and i must say i would never even think about it again! I sat here crying my eyes out at what i saw!

It is murder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think abortion should only be carried out at a very EARLY stage and only if it was because of rape or a abnormabiltly with the child!

They abort at the lastest stage and that baby is formed. i could never ever do it!!!!!!

I had an abortion when I was 18, not something I am proud of but something I can not change. I now have 3 children, yes I feel bad for what I did, but know it was the right choice in the long run. I never thought I would do it until I was faced with that choice. Lots of personal issues involved I don't want to get into with the circumstances. But I have seen the Silent Scream and that video is not a very accurate video for abortion, its made by an anti abortion group so the message is very bias. Most early abortions are nothing like that video.

i had an abortion when i was 18. i was on b/c so i can not say i accidentally got pregnant, but i did not go out and get pregnant either. the b/c failed for me.. the decision i made at the time was not hard for me to make. i do and will always have the what ifs.. today i am now 30 years old and 16 weeks pregnant. money for me is tighter than when i was 18 but now i have the extreme love, respect and support of a great boyfriend.. i still do not feel ready but now with the support that i have it makes all the difference in the world..

this subject comes up alot and usually you get good feed back from it because so many people have different views, my answer is no i would not consider it, honestly not even if i was raped, its not the baby's fault that i got pregnant so why should i make a little baby suffer for my mistakes (assuming it was consentual sex) i would love my child the same either way. now if i was absoulutly in a bind with no help or no money or something like that i would still say hell no to abortion and put my child up for adoption so someone who cant have children could take care of them for me and give them the life i couldnt.
i have one child now and am pregnant again, so i know it can be hard, but as i have said and been told if you want to play you better be willing to pay LOL i love my children and i dont know what i would do with out them
so no abortion is not something i would ever consider!

I'm pro-choice.

If I were to get pregnant, abortion would be an option I would consider. I'm not financially, mentally, emotionally or physically able to support a child.

Lots of people DON'T regret having an abortion.

i dont believe in having an abortion and i wouldnt have one but i do believe it's an individual choice that should be respected as some people may have very good reasons to have an abortion.

Absolutely not, not even if I was rapped. So many people in this want kids so bad they'll even pay for your medical bills to adopt. As long as giving up your child is an alternative no one should wanna kill there baby. Of course I think every one should do what ever they want and feel. So I wouldn't hate someone for doing so I just wouldn't do it ever.

thank's for this question, first it happen to me to get pregnant accidentally but i don't know what to do that time i feel nervous but since i have fear to God and with the help of my family i continue my pregnancy and everytime i watch this kind of even in t.v for abortion i always thank's God that given me the encouragement not to get for abortion coz if i will maybe i will not forgive myself at all now my baby big even the father not with us. I can say im proud of it coz i make my son grow without the help of his father that irresponsible.
Too many woman come to this situation but if they think about their own self they will make abortion but what you will feel after that. If you make wrong don't make mistake to correct it, just be responsible. The child in your womb doesn't make any mistake. so she/he have the right to live in this world like what mother did to us, she gave her life so that we can see the wonderful world. So we have to give chance for the unborn baby.

I am personally against abortion. I believe it's a sin. When we're having sexual intercourse, we should be aware of the fact that pregnancy is always possible. We should always be responsible of our actions. Pregnancy is a concious results of your actions, thus, and aborting a growing fetus is deliberately killing a human being within you (except for some special cases where abortion is permitted, medical or rape & abusive cases). Guilt is a bad enemy, your conscience will hunt you for life for doing this.
