Sure, if India has the will to succeed and the US plus allies don't put the boot in!

Being a superpower in the modern world is all about Empire and controlling other countries by bribery, blackmail or corruption - whatever it takes.

I sincerely hope that Ghandi's work was not in vain, and that if India does become a viable Superpower, it leads the World by the application of outstanding philosophy, fairness, equality and the promotion of liberty rather than control.

The job will ultimately fall to youth, which is why it's important to give them the best education available - especially in world history, so the same mistakes we've made for the last 10 centuries aren't repeated again.

I am not sure when will you call India a super-power! If you are referring to a country on top-of-the-world, then NO. If one of the most influential countries in the world then YES. In fact, India's economy, market, software-proficiency is taking it to next level every day, I think India's one of the super-powers even today. Yes, youths will play a more important role in this journey.

India will never be a super power before 2010. It will be super power only if unproductive old guys retire and allow productive young blood to take over.

yes, it can be a superpower because of its huge market size which creates an enourmous advantages in terms of economies of scale. I expect India along with China be the supervpowers throughout the second half of this century.

I guess it will be nobody's resposibility, but will just happen because global economy pushes for it.

All right thinking persons. Why super power'India',super power should be all the country, not by fire power, but by prosperity,in all the fields, sans, arms.
Why do we need it,if all r free from fear from others, and all r prospering in every fields, what a human being requires to live in dignified, happy, content life.
Let us think all human being should live happily in peace without any one to claim 'Superior' ,We r born equal
