Sky had already paid for the rights for all four games of the semi-finals, so they had the right not to show the Newcastle game. It's bound to be in their terms & conditions. No one goes to Paignton anyway. Torquay are going down!

You would lose any claim.

They have every right to change games and due to circumstances (the fog on Merseyside) the Carling Cup got knocked back and therefore the second leg of the second semi-final was due to take place on the same night as a live Premiership game. They then switched their live Premiership game to Tuesday night and West Ham v Liverpool.

They have the rights to a certain number of games each year and as long as every team is shown three times live then they can pick n choose what other games to show, and on those rare occasions they have to change their live programming, they are allowed to under the terms of the current contract.

Nope! the Carling cup has been set to be on sky sports for at least a week. And surely if you were a good club you would have had a bar full of spurs and arsenal fans.

Sky had every right to cancel that match - the L/C match was obviously going to attract higher viewing figures and it is agame that has to be broadcated!

How would you like it if Newcastle reached the L/C semi final and it was not shown on TV because Wigan were playing Villa!

Damn right you should !

If Spurs played Arsenal in a league match and it was Newcastle and Villa in the re-scheduled semi do you think they would drop the North London derby ?!

Not on your nelly ! They would have shunted one of the games on to another one of their channels.

You mean you expected people to pay to see that bunch of losers or were you expecting people to drown their sorrows over the inept performances that both of those teams have put in over the last few years. You should have put the match on and shown your customers what real football is.

You can try but I am sure they will have some stupid wording in their contract saying something like 'programmes are subject to change without notice'

Good luck. They deserve to be kicked up their backsides.
