Garfield is over 25; they had a big anniversary party for him. He knows he is 25, but he sure doesn’t act it. (Real cats seldom live to 20, but then, he is a toon after all.)

In 1981 a writer by the name of Jim Davis made a cat. A cat by the name of Garfield. Since then hes made his way to screen, cards, posters and even air fresheners. The first book was called The Great Lover and is now into the 46 book. He has a few friends in the story and they all play rolls: Jon: Garfields owner or as he likes to call him his pet. Odie: Walking drool factory and as thick as two short planks (maybe even dumber). Alrene: Garfields supposed girlfriend Pookey: Garfields teddybear and best friend Nermal: an annoying kittn who is always making Garfield feel old or ugly. All in all he's a great charactor and he keeps on going to this day. Here you go.

no proof but i think he's a teenager from how he acts, always eating, sleeping and saying smart alick stuff to everybody, then there is the way he treats Odie the dog, like crap! And he hates Mondays. All of which is the same thing that my teenage brother does. No proof but simple comparison.
