He has the skin disease Vitiligo which attacks and depletes the pigment in the skin, you can google Michael Jackson and Vitiligo and see photos that show that he has the disease!!

I have a funny story about that. Years ago he did a reunion television special with his brothers. My young daughter walked into the room and asked "who are those guys singing with Michael Jackson?" I said "those are his brothers." After a few quiet seconds she said "but they're black" and I said "yeah, so?" and she said "but Michael Jackson is white" I said, "well, he used to be black" LOL
It startled me that something like that stood out so much to her and that it wasn't something I had noticed as being odd. I had adjusted to him lightening his skin over the years that he seemed normal to me.

He claims to have this skin disease. I read about it and it occurs in patches. Michael has some mysterious, EXTREMELY rare form where it occurs uniformally on his body. Kind of odd. I believe this as much as I believe he only had one plastic surgery. What an insult to the public's intelligence that we're dumb enough to believe this crap.

He has a skin disorder called vitiligo that makes it all patchy and white. he evens out his skin with light makeup though, that's probably why it's so light.
