If you take some time and scheme through these stories. The South Africans that are being deported have all the right, supporting documentation, valid reasons of entry to the countries they are visiting, yet they get treated like criminals and terrorists.

If you had taken the time to read the articles, you would've made an informed statement or comment.

lol i know what you mean lol. was a case in bc, canada a few years back - south african guy on perm. visa opened a construction company and employed over 1000 canadians. after his 4 yrs were up, they wanted to refuse his visa renewal because his son had down syndrome, and "would be a burden to the tax payers' lmao!!!! he told them his son has more money than he can know what to do with for the rest of his life. it took the canadian employees, who would all have lost their jobs if he closed his company, to petition for him to have that decision reversed by immigration - talk about dumbassed bureacrats.
it should be a privellege to HAVE an immigrant like him, when he could have chosen any other country to take his wealth to lol.
as for myself i have been "interogated" at an international airport for nearly an hour as a "suspicious traveller" due to the fact i travel alone, and i am a woman, from a "suspect country" etc....
so yeah ignorance is bliss. say "no" to the wealthy and educated, and yes to the "fine upstanding criminal u.s. and other citizens " who fill up their jails. talk about priorities.

Simple answer to this:
Tokyo Sexwale was mistakenly still on an anti-terrorist list from before the ANC took power. Once the mistake was realised, he was given a ten year waiver to travel to the USA unhindered.

Adam Habib is an outspoken anti-Israel commentator and Palestinian sympathiser. After 9/11, damn right he was denied entry to the USA. I don't want him here, either.

Let's get one thing straight - being allowed entry into the USA is a privilege, not a right, regardless of whether or not one has the proper documentation.

Apparently some South Africans behaved and are behaving very badly in the UK. I have no problem with people like that being deported (Just dont send them back to SA, send them elsewhere, like Zim or something) but the problem is they close doors for SAns in general.
I currently work in an Eastern country (Taiwan) and havent heard of any SAns (of the many here) deported from here. Let's hope it stays that way and that the SA hooligans who made "naam gat" in the UK dont come here...

No Country offers freedom of entry to everyone and two instances hardly constitutes a crisis for South Africans. The UK and US in particular have been subjected to numerous instances of terrorism and would be failing their citizens if they did not scrutinise would be entrants. I am sure 100's are stopped every day so what is so special about those two that they feel they can saunter into the UK or US. I speak under correction but as far as the US is concerned having all the correct papers is no guarantee of entry and the final decision lies with the Immigration? Official upon arrival. Habib is a prominent Muslim and having regard to the terror being waged on the US from some in that Community and the fact that 2 South African Muslims have just been placed on the US and soon to be UN list of people suspected of links with Al Quaeda I am not surprised. Many, many more South Africans are expected to be placed on the US/UN list so watch for Habib's name.In Sexwale's case I expect his little bubble was burst when he discovered that he is a non-entity in the UK so he did what all good ANC members do-play the race card. The UK High Commissioner probably gave him an autographed photo of the Queen and sent him on his way.The arrogance of South Africans such as Sexwale beggars belief. He is just another tinpot Communist from Africa and commands no right to any special attention.

I forgot to ask why you did not mention the SA Embassy official who was deported from the UK about 6 months ago because of the criminal activities of his 2 sons? Maybe that set the precedent.

First of all there are two sides to any story...so just WHY are these people being deported? No country is going to deport anyone unless there is sound factual reason. Therefore, I see no problem with this issue.

Racial profiling has always been and will always be with us. I have more important things IN this country to concern myself about than a super-rich businessman thats for once treated the way most people are.
