Of course, love is involuntary. We cant choose a person whom we will love.It happens even without our wish,When it is real love,it was decided long ago,in heavens,by God...And when you really love its impossible to control your feelings,it fills all your heart, soul and takes all your thoughts.Such feelings(from God) are stronger than we are and we cant control them. That is what I can say from my experience.Good luck!

I don't really agree... attraction is often an involuntary thing- and sometimes it seems that all it takes is for the person to be, well, male! But- Love- that (for me) happens over a period of time and is a feeling that is nourished and developed until it becomes a part of who I am. And for many people, this is helped along greatly if there is some sense that the other person needs you (I'm a bit that way). Some people I have definitely felt major chemistry with but because of circumstances have simply run the other way and avoided falling in love with them.
On the other hand, when my nieces and nephews were born (I have no children myself) it was mad instantaneous love and completely involuntary- and will be forever, I believe. This is different love, though...

Well, being in love is involuntary to a certain point. U can fall in love with someone but u can choose to disregard it before a relationship ever happens.

I do believe that it is involuntary reason being u dont choose to fall in-luv but its just happen. However you can control yourself if u r in love, u can learn to do that. Falling in-luv is automatic when u meet someone u r connected to.

I agree that love is involuntary.
Being in love is more than just chemistry,
it is a pair of committed hearts, souls and minds - a decision -
being in love is not just sex - although it is an important part of life.
The chemistry of sexual attraction is often not long term.
You have to love with your whole heart, with all your soul and with all your mind to spend your entire life with someone and give all your time, energy and devotion to one person.
