i brought an assembled pc from the market now i feel cheated about the processor. how could i confirm which processor is inside my pc

Click on Start, Run and type "Msinfo32" and click on ok. System information windows will appear. Click on system summary. on the right panel you will see details information about your computer. All your entire computer Hardware/Software summary will be given there. But if you only want to see processor than you can see from BIOS settings also. while rebooting your pc. press DEL or F2 key to enter to BIOS setting. You will find the processor type there.

You can right click the my computer icon either in the start menu or on the desktop, look there it will show you the processor and speed. Device manager will tell you the model though.

Take the cover off. OR While is is booting up, check the bios settings. OR Use any utility program like Norton or McAffee or something that profiles your computer.

if your using windows go to control panel and then performance and maintenance, then system.... or you can download a program called belarc adviser.. which will tell you just go to the link if you want it for free http://belarc.com/free_download.html

you can see all the info about your computer

download this app and run, from here http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
it will tell you infos about your cpu, motherboard, ram, bios etc.
