There is no proof yet that what has been proposed by our (UK) security forces is true - that there has been indeed a plot uncovered to kidnap/execute someone on UK soil. Does that possibility terrify you? NB I am not interested in whether or not you believe it to be true - but your views on how that WOULD make you feel.

I'd prefer answers that DON'T criticize the views people (wrongly) prescribe to me - even if that hostility is only a bit of sarcasm on their part

I believe it to be true.

I have no reason to doubt them. And, I am aware that people of that caliber exist.

Are you sure there is NO proof or they didn't come to you for approval first.
So much of that information has to remain classified because if you tell the public the bad guys will change their tatics.

I have more trust in the British government than a religion that killing people through out the world.

Will mistakes me bad yes but I rather error on the side of caution if these guys are found innocent and release that is OK.
However do you want such an air tight case on them before we act that causes a bombing or beheading while establishing YOUR purden of proof.

i aint terrified about al quieda because it dosent exist
im not saying that the police are covering it up
the people who think they are working for al quieda are misguided souls and do not even know who there boss realy is
it is easy to find people like them and brainwash them a little but im afraid that the man behind them is a white man in london possibly mi5 and he will also be the one who tipped off the police
who have once again extinguished a major threat!

im terrified for my sons future in a world what is constanly being poluted by greenhouse gasses and the rainfoorest and ice caps are dissapearing at an alarming rate

all this stuff is realy a minor in comparisson

i live in birmingham near by the places they were cought, and i used to work just off stratford road, ive been in those internet cafes, and i think muslims around here are much better people than the white population around here what are mostly scum

The UK is doomed as it is. The idiots don't even pause to wipe their mouths while they bow down to kiss that islamic ***.
How do we feel? These acts of terror don't frighten me. They only embolden me and so many others. The thought of being blown up or having my head cut off is a bit scary, but I, like many other Americans will not end without one hell of a fight. The Brits are unfortunately a bunch of unarmed sheep. It's kind of hard to defend yourself with sticks and stones. America, on the other hand, still has well armed citizens, at least for now. It seems that one great fear is not of the terrorists, but instead a fear of our future leaders who will further lessen our ability to defend ourselves. Again, just look at defenseless Brits. The only guns being carried there are being carried by criminals (and maybe the few people who have the guts to ignore the law and do what is right.)

No - the Government can try as hard as they like, but the "terrorist threat" is pretty insignificant in terms of numbers, actually.
