Yes it is possible that the test will show up positive. If you are still bleeding then it will more than likely come up as positive but its nothing to worry about x

Poor you, take it easy.
I did a pregnancy test at 8 weeks, knowing I was pregnant anyway but just to confirm. It showed negative and I miscarried less than 24 hours later. Unless you have lost one of twins who intends staying put, I would expect that your test would show negative going by my own experience. The hormones that show you as pregnant in the test seem to go away when your body is about to end your pregnancy.
For the record, I fell pregnant again 4 months later and had a healthy son. That was 10 years ago. You don't forget but it hurts less.
Take care.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Yes it will more than likely show up as positive.
You need to go to the doctors and maybe arrange to have a D&C. I've had 3 miscarriages and because i was too scared to have a D&C i opted to let things happen naturally and it took about 4 weeks for bleeding to stop.
I had a D&C the second time around and you actually feel much better afterwards.Hope this helps and I hope things work out for you, tc x

Hi there
I had a miscarriage two weeks ago at 9weeks pregnant and the best thing to do is ring your hospital as you might have to go in. I went in for two days and have a scan a day after i stated to bleed to make sure that there were no clots still in my womb as this could cause infection and real pain. I know just how you are feeling right now its hard to take in and you don't know what to do. I bleed for a week from the first day i started to miscarry. I hope you are OK, please ring your local hospital or GP/Doctor and let them know as if you have lost to much blood you will need to go on a drip. Drink loads of water and go a chill on the sofa or bed. You really need to rest your body. A lot is going on in your body right now and resting is the best thing.
I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, its difficult but I'm sure you will pull through this. Its hard trust me i do know what you are going through.
Keep your chin up.
GO TO THE DOCTOR PLEASE.

When i miscarried the hospital told me that i could have a positive pregnancy test for upto 3 months after. The baby passed on a Friday and when i went to the hospital on Monday the pregnancy test came back positive even though i had miscarried.

One of those home tests may because the hormones are still present. When the Dr. does a test it shows the exact count.(I also had a miscarriage, so I know this to be a fact). The levels will start dropping immediately after the miscarriage. This is how they tell you did have one and just not something else gone wrong. Please accept my sympathy. You may bleed for about 2 weeks too, just like you delivered.

Hi
I'm very sorry for your loss. I miscarried on 14 Dec. I was only 5weeks and 5days preg. I still had a positive test at the start of Jan. This is because it takes a while for the hormones to settle back to normal. The further along you are the longer it takes to get back to normal. I hope you feel ok. Rest for a few days.

I hate to even attempt to build up your expectations here Darling....but if & that's IF you were pregnant with non-identicle twins...it is possible that you can miscarry one & continue to carry the other....if that's what's happened to you...taken a test I mean & it's still shown positive then call the Dr out or get to your nearest hospital to have things checked over......
I'm sorry for what you're going through right now...I've been there & I know how awful it all is...look after yourself & get some rest if you can....thinking of you...Hugs coming to you Babe... â¥

It would probably show as positive as you still have pregnancy hormones in your body it takes a couple of days for the hormone levels to drop completely. Sorry to hear of your loss.
