I'm 15 years old and slim around the stomach area, yet I have 36DD cups, will this affect me in later life? I've heard that it can cause back problems, is this true?

Sounds like you have a figure most women would kill for!

LOL!

Yes, the DD bit is the crucial thing and yes, they may be a bit large for comfort but the advice, already given, about posture and a good fitting bra is the best.

Breasts do weigh a ton. As a DD myself I can vouch for that. Posture to maintain the balance of the spine in relation to the uneven weight distribution is key- a good posture (ie straight with shoulders pulled back as though you were proud of your chest) is worth gold in your case. Practice walking with pride and try balancing a book on your head. Don't be tempted to hide yourself (although it can be hard when you get the silly comments from chaps like Thinker... LOL!) and remember- slouching will help gravity pull you over more.

Bras- problem is that with that size cup (the DD is the cup and the number is the measurement of your ribcage in relation to your breasts) is that styles are more limited and you need to be looking at the width and support of the straps (sorry- the wider and more "sporty" and unsexy looking, the better. :-( ).

Invest money into a good bra. Don't shy away from padding as padding in the lower part of the cup doesn't add but lifts. The more lift (ie support) you can get, the better. Supporting heavy breasts early on will prevent problems later on.

And no- breastfeeding later on (saw it mentioned in earlier replies) is no different with a small breast or a large one. And just because you have a large one now doesn't even mean you will retain that same size AFTER pregnancy/breastfeeding.

Breast tissue is predominantly fatty tissue and you may go up OR down in size. Often breasts appear to diminish in size after BFing.

:-)

So- good sports bra for Gym etc, good supportive set of bras for daily and occasion wear and don't stint on support. Key word- support.

And hey- be proud.

As long as you stay healthy and active, you should be fine. Posture and back strength are vital & key. I am a DDD... and I don't have the shoulder/back pain some people are talking about. I love my chest size, and I have never been ashamed of it. Join a gym... some have machines that can help you strengthen the muscles in your back. Make sure you eat the right kinds of things & the right amounts (I don't mean diet... I mean just eat normal, well-balanced meals) and take care of your body.

You'll be fine. I was a 36DD in HS too. I was a 38 DDD by the time I graduated from college. I have had 2 babies & breastfed both of them just fine. The best place I found to buy bras is Lane Bryant. Seriously!!! The clothes may not fit you... but you're not there for the clothes, you're there for the bras! They have pretty, sexy bras in larger sizes, and one of the associates will gladly fit you for your correct size. I used to love Victoria's Secret... but the skinny straps on most of their cutesy bras did a number on my shoulders LOL. If you prefer VS, go for their Second Skin Satin line of bras. They're not as sexy as some of the others, but they will feel good on your shoulders and give your breasts a nice shape/form. But for me personally, I now buy all of my bras from Lane Bryant.

Yes, you will probably have back problems in future as well as gravity pulling your big breasts down causing you self image problems. I don't know if this latter problem is there yet, but when it does a breast reduction would be a good idea. If you can, I think you'd be better to wait until you've finished childbearing and breast feeding, but if it causes you too many problems before that you'd be better to get it done earlier.

Anthony Quinn grew to become into on the late area yet i do no longer think of that occurs very in lots of situations the place somebody is of their late 70s and has a baby. Celebs do issues usual people do no longer do each and all the time. My mom had a 21 year age distinction between her first born and her final born infant. She have been given remarried in her 40's to a guy 12 years her jr. My mom grew to become right into a wholesome man or woman of 40 4 and 40 six while she had my 0.5 bro and sis. The questioning grew to become into as she grew to become into older then him that she might bypass first and he could be with the babies. he died youthful so which you would be able to by no skill anticipate how existence seems. My mom lived long adequate to work out her infant get married at age 22. My grandmother grew to become into married until eventually now she had my mom and aunt, my grandfather grew to become into almost 50 while my mom grew to become into born. My mom had a 0.5 bro 19 years her senior from her mothers first marriage. i do no longer think of age is that substantial if there are secure guards in place for a baby which includes or funds to shelter them if their mom and dad ought to bypass while the baby remains youthful. I even have customary youthful mom and dad who died while their babies have been nonetheless youthful, dying can declare everyone at any age at any time. My nieces husband died only final week, he grew to become into 40 5, leaving her a widow with a 7 year previous baby. that's greater egocentric to have babies at any age which you may't have the money for to shelter.

if you wear good bras then no, but make sure they are really supportive. i'm a 34D now and 13 and fingers crossed, never had a back problem yet and show no signs but i also sleep in my bra, i find it more comfortable, you should try it, and remember if you do start to have back problems you can get a breast reduction off the NHS, well if it is bad enough.
*hugs*xxx

i am a DD too...but it sounds like i might be a little bigger than you...im 19...they can cause back problems but you shouldnt have to worry unless you are extremely little or they get bigger...my aunt had back and neck problems and headaches for years and the doctors couldnt figure out why till she finally decided to get a breast reduction surgery...she was an E and went down to a C...she no longer has back problems...just depends on the person...because mine dont cause me any back pain.

Yes, it is true. The weight of your breasts can cause you a lot of stress and strain, not only to your back but, also your shoulders. Try to buy a really good bra, for support.
