Bella is painted blue by protestors to her he cosmetics company. she forces Denny and Shirley to defend her in court.
Meanwhile, Alan tells Brad that Denise may be sleeping around on him. Brad asks her but she refuses to tell him anything. He covers her hands with chemicals and find her fingerprints all over Jefferey's face and crotch.
Alan is obsessed with the yellow dress Vanessa is wearing.
Clarence is now dating Claire who is being told by the Yankees that she can not wear a Yankees uniform to a party.
In the only trial of the night Shirley and Denny get an injunction against the protestors for Bella despite the fact that Bethany is defending the protestors. At the end of the trial Denny breaks up with Bella and asks Bethany to come back to him.
The show ends in a company costume party with Claire dressed up like a NY Ranger, Clarence dressed up like Oprah, Denny dressed up like the Vice President, Bethany dressed up like Danny Devito, Paul dressed up like Einstien. Shirley dressed up like Diane Sawyer, Vanessa came in the yellow dress, Brad and jeffrey both came in as Buzz lightyear and took it outside, and Alan came dressed as Shirley Schmidtho. It was come as your hero day.
The show ended with Alan and Denny dancing together on the balcony while Brad and Jeffrey continued to slug it out down below.

Denny wanted to break up with Bella so he could be with Bethany. And there was a costume party for all the employees....Denny came as Vice President Chaney, Brad came as Buzz Lightyear and Denny's friend(can't remember his name, the one he shares drinks with) came as Shirley.
