How easy / difficult is it to get a professional job (banking, management) in Europe as a US citizen?

Was just over in Swiss, Austria and would love to find a job there....just wondering how one goes about acquiring a job......thanks!

It highly depends on your qualification. First of all it helps if you speak one of the local languages.

The easiest way to get a job in Switzerland is to be sent by your U.S. employer to Switzerland. Then your employer organizes the required permits.
