First put partial derivatives to zero

2x-9y=0 and -9x+2y=0 The only solution is (0,0)

To find out what happens at this point you must calculate
H = f_xx*f_yy -f^2_xy and study its sign combined with the sign of
f_xx

Thursday 23 May 2013 The Origin of the Concept of GOD, ISHWAR and the like As of present, man knows about 12 fundamental particles of matter and 4 fundamental physical forces. Actually these 12 fundamental particles of matter are covered in the 4 fundamental forces. The observable Universe is a Sum Total Effect of what we know and what we do not know yet, about the Universe. The Universe we see and experience is a result of the interaction of Energy and Matter. The four fundamental physical forces and forces not discovered yet, is a bundle of Energy, and the elementary particles (atoms and molecules) are part of the bundle of Matter. It is beyond the limits of human brain to conceive the origin and source of this Energy and Matter. No “Event” can happen in this Universe without a “Cause” and without the involvement of some “Energy”. Since the formation of this Universe is an “event”, there MUST be a “Cause” and involvement of “Energy”. Great thinkers of the past ( GTPs) correctly comprehended this FACT. They labeled this CAUSE as GOD, ISHWAR, KHUDA and the like. The GTPs may be unaware of the details of the fundamental forces, they personified this cause in a human form as GOD that can be comprehended by the human brain.
