I would rather love, it's simply because what's life if you don't know how to love?...i could love someone, and be hurt (that's a part of life...it makes finding the ONE who you love and loves you,worthwhile)...if he does love me back, then i'm glad i loved him in the first place.

It's a very tricky thing, you see. The best, real harmony, is to love the same person that loves you. Unfortunately, that is rare.
To love somebody is really great. But it can give you great pain, pain that I felt some time ago and I don't want to feel ever again in my life. So I choose to be loved, which is also great, but you can't be fulfilled totally, if you know what I mean.
Good question.

Well i would rather both,, because one doesn't really work, it hurts to much to love someone and not be loved in return, so i think there's no great feeling in the world, then to love and be loved.. theres a famous saying, to love and to be loved in return, is like feeling the sun from both sides...its simply a feeling of being complete,, its awesome :D

there is nothing call love in this world. We only need people to love us to get morale support. If there was love, then no one would have been suffering. A girl wont leave the boy she loves or a man wouldnt have betrayed the woman he loves. a mother wouldnt have left her child in the orphanage.

Yes, we do fall in real love. But only once. And the rest is just life!

I would prefer to love because its a great feeling to love someone and wonder if they feel the same for you. Like they say, its better to give than recieve.

Mans greatest need is to LOVE for that is the essence of our being. It is not so much that we love anything, but like sunshine, that love cannot be suppressed. Our second great need is to be loved. all things seem to form a circle. "God dwells within you as you". we have union with God in unconditional love within our hearts. As the colors of the rainbow are contained within sunlight, so to are we all contained within the light of Gods unconditional love.

I'd rather love, I enjoy making that special girl smile and laugh, even if she doesn't know how deep my feelings run. Her happiness is my happiness so I'd ruther love

If I can't have both... Then to love. Being loved without being able to love back is almost as bad as loving passionately without getting love... But, tender love, unselfish - it would be good.
