Hi,
Chat with the boss and say you need more and are willing to take on responsibility.
Go to a careers advice centre and get them to check out what you should be good at. And hunt around for another job.
Chat with your friends and see what they do and how they got there.
Send a couple of letters to companies who you might want to work for, highlight your best points and ask to be considered for employment. Back it up with a phone call a week later, (be brave as it takes more than you think for someone to actually 'say' no)
Best Regards
Yakatang

figure out what you want and market yourself to get it. the only way an employer is going to pay you is if you fit what they are looking for to fill a job. if youre not sure what you want and your not happy, how do you expect the employer to be? You need to seek good employment counseling from a college or state bureau of employment serivces. I would also recommend putting your resume and credentials on most of the major web job search sites. visibility is part of marketing, its free, and maybe an employer will find you and start asking questions. good luck.

well everyday after work and on the weekends i'd be looking for another, better job. Once i found one that was going to hire me and i knew for sure of this, i'd tell the new employer that i could start in 2 weeks. I'd then go to my job and out in my 2 weeks notice. This way i have left in good terms. and i'd then begin my new and better job.
