once you're a citizen of a western usa and arrive without Philippine visa at between the international airports, carry a passport valid for 6 months previous your planned go out from the Philippines, and have an ongoing or return airplane value ticket leaving the Philippines, you will regularly be granted an get right of entry to visa for loose and might enter the Philippines and stay for a optimal of 21 days. in case you want to stay longer, it is going to take you some greater hardship. For a stay as much as fifty 9 days, you may the two stick to for a visa from a Philippine embassy or consulate on your place usa, or stick to for an extension with between the immigration places of work whilst already in the Philippines.

You will get an entry stamp good for 21 days stay if you don't already have a visa from the Philippine Embassy in your country. I've done it both ways. If you plan to stay more than 21 days its better to get a visa before going there. That way you don't have to deal with the local immigration offices there. They can test your patience the way they do things there. And they're always looking to charge you a little extra for some ridiculous reason like "expedited service". Bear in mind that they all think we (foreigners) are filthy rich and can print our own money at will. Dont exchange money at a street money changer. They are quite skilled at "slight of hand". Good luck and enjoy your trip.

You don't need to obtain visa if only for a few weeks. If you plan to stay more than 21 days, you should go to the Philippine embassy or consulate to get a visa.

Upon arrival most tourists are automatically given 21 days visa. Just make sure your passport is valid for the next 6 months and you have an outward/exit ticket for Immigration inspection (though most do not inspect it).

For visa information, check Philippine Foreign Affairs website at http://www.dfa.gov.ph

No need for a Philippine visa, unless you stay for over 21 days. Cheers!

yes you will need a visa. as long as you have the right reason to give to the philippine embassy personnel who will interview you, you will have no problems getting a visa, if you mean a tourist visa, but if you want to migrate here, then that's a different story.

Trust me you don't need to obtain a visa. You get a entry stamp at the airport for 21 days to stay as a tourist no need to pay for it. I'm Canadian and went to philip last year. Your holding a British passport so no need to obtain a visa ahead of time as a tourist. When leaving u need to pay 500ps $11 at the airport for departure tax.
