So, still think its mickey Mouse???
That had to be the best televised game so far this season, Fair play to arsenal they diservered the win, Ay leat we gave them a run for their money unlike them scouse losers! I must admit though i was gutted when the third went in, i could have settled for 2-1 but 3-1 i thought wasnt a great reflection on the game....

Im sure a lot of spurs fans will hate what i am about to say but im cheering for the gooooners in the final cos i HATE chelsea.

to bazzyid...... Im not following anything! i have been bought up hateing chelsea there has been a lot beef for that club in my family and as for the gooners, my dad has 4 brothers and 2 are spurs and 2 are arsenal so when being bought up we tended to watch a lot of arsenal and have grown not to hate them as much.. Dont get me wrong when we scored last night i jumped up in front of the pub screen in front of 20 gooners so im not afraid to rub their noses in it.. but chelsea v arsenal........ i have to go for the gunners!!!! dosnt make me any less of a spurs fan

First of all any Cup that gets you a place in Europe isn't ' Mickey Mouse' and secondly can people (mainly gooners) stop saying this was an Arsenal Youth or B team when in there line up last night they had.. Toure, Senderos, Clichy, Walcott, Rosicky, Silva, Fabregas & Adebayor. So i'd hardly call that a weakend or Youth team !
Also lets not forget that Spurs were missing 3 of our best players in King, Lennon & Berbatov so if anyone was fielding a weakend team i'd say it was us.
That all said i thought our performance was very weak last night and apart from a brief 5 minute spell after Mido scored never really attacked them or looked like scoring. At least in the first leg we had a good first half but the same cant be said about last nights performance when we got what we deserved NOTHING !

Thank you, both sides, for the best two games of the season. Arsenal were the better team last night but 3-1 was a bit cruel. As a Man Utd fan I also hope Arsenal beat Chelsea if only because Arsenal play, by far, the more attractive football.

Speaking as a gooner, I thought it was a fine match. for the last few years, we've seen it more as a real introduction for some of our younger/fringe players to get some proper competitive matches under the belt but Id still consider it an important competition.

Its just the advent of the big money in the sport that's pushed it down the importance list for the bigger clubs (Champions league is where the money is at). Its not a Mickey Mouse competition - for most teams its still a viable and valuable route into Europe and is still considered a major piece of silverware but it is number 6 out of the 8 trophies available to teams in the premiership.

In order, Id say...
Champions League
Premiership
Super Cup
Uefa Cup
FA Cup
Fizzy pop League cup
Inter toto cup
Community shield

Good game though.

I was sitting down watching the game last night with a Spurs mate and we both agreed that it was a cracking game.As an Arsenal supporter I went through all sorts of emotions especially when Spurs equalised with a good goal from Mido, Even when Arsenal went 2-1 up I thought Spurs were going to equalise and that the game would go to penalties.Arsenal scored the third because Spurs were committed to attack and they left themselves open at the back.
All in all two excellent games and thanks for your very sporting remarks!

Just think of the gooners score if they had played thier full team not the under aged team of young lads that they did, They felt sorry for the Spurs and did not want to destroy thier morale , Jol would love to have a youth team that the Gooners have, if all clubs grew thier own to the standard of the Gunners then what a different league we would have, some might even be English

i am disappointed in you, arsenal are overrated, half the teams in the premiership are scared of them . this is why they have underachieved in Europe,European teams have no fear of them, they laugh at Henry.he was a joke in Italy. you are becoming accustomed to mediocrity, and by praising spurs in defeat you are excusing the spurs players for yet another loss to an overrated team . i am also backing Chelsea to win the final, i would rather fight for the Iraqis than back the scum for anything. YID TILL I DIE.
