All of the above! They're jealous because they have no one in their party with any good character. Of the answers posted so far, the "lies" that were listed weren't lies! You have to give the Dems credit for knowing that if they repeat enough LIES, many will come to believe them to be true! I find it to be a double standard that these people harp on Bush's supposed lies, but I never heard them harp on Clinton's lies! Clinton used the Oval Office as his sex room and committed perjury, but to hear the Dems talk, he walks on water [he's on the bottom of the water breathing through a straw]! Although Clinton's lies didn't take us to war with Iraq, they didn't get us Osama either. And because Clinton didn't take the threat of Osama seriously enough, he passed up the opportunity to get him and the result was 9/11! I know Osama wasn't from Iraq, but he had ties with Iraq and had some of his "Army" [Al Queda--sorry, I'm not sure of the spelling!] there from time to time [for????????]. So the Dems can say whatever they want about Bush--I watch them on TV and 99% of them talk through their ***! I'm from Texas and am proud that Bush is too! He's a better president than Gore or Kerry would have been--at least he's trying to fight terrorism and protect America! All I can say is: Remember 9/11!

The ever changing reason to go to Iraq, the mission accomplished but not, the weapons of mass destruction, the uranium enrichment from Africa, that he gets permission from the court to wiretap, that he didn't know about the devastation in Katrina till 3 days later. Either he lies or he has no clue what is happening around him. Dems dislike Bush because he lies and then tries to prove he is the higher moral grounds than everyone else.

Mr. Bush lost the confidence of the American public after the events of 9-11 he brought the country together but then misled the country.

The WMD that were in Iraq did not exist, 9-11 was the work of Iraq failure to listen to those who knew how to conduct war but took the advise of Chaney and Rumsfelt.

He opposed the 9-11 Commission the bipartisan Commission on the war. He shoot from the hip in the conduct of the war.

His Tom Cruise of Top Gun as Mission Accomplished.
I stand by my FEMA director and then he is fired and same with Rumsfelt and week later he is fired.

It is say the course in Iraq just send more troops and we will win.

Hardly enough space within to give you even a cursory list of his arrogance and ignorance.
How did he sell you on the war? WMD! Was there any? No. Faulty intelligence? My foot! The neocons's plan from day one.
His steadfastness is actually unwarranted stubborness
His confidence stems from his delusions
Character? PLLLLLLLLEASE.
Have you ANY notion whatsoever what consttutes character?
George Jr is merely the hood ornament, a marionette of the neocons, president Smirk. It is his vice president who is actually presiding as though you did not know. President Sneer.
And I am not even a Dem!!!

His lies? Those evil weapons of mass destruction seems right up there. How about his adminstration lying about global warming and altering scientific data to fit his GOP agenda? Or how about saying his personal attorney Miers was the best candidate for the Supreme Court?
..."You remember when [Secretary of State] Colin Powell stood up in front of the world, and he said Iraq has got laboratories, mobile labs to build biological weapons....They're illegal. They're against the United Nations resolutions, and we've so far discovered two.* And we'll find more weapons as time goes on, But for those who say we haven't found the banned manufacturing devices or banned weapons, they're wrong. We found them."

Iraq. His intelligence was faulty. Did he falsify, or did the C.I.A. screw up majorly? Don't know, doesn't matter. It's HIS C.I.A., and any problems or mistakes that happen with them, just like every other U.S. agency is completely, 100% his fault. That's what being the President equates to: you get credit when things are good, you get blamed when things are bad.

I'm not going to jump to conclusions and start yelling about why I think he took us in there, but it certainly wasn't because they were an imminent threat. They found some old mustard gas, in corroded cans, but those weren't any threat to the U.S.

there are so many lies; first that Iraq owns nuclear power , second that Iraq needs DEMO(cracy) , that Iraq has relation with Qaeda , that Saddam has killed many people ( compare victims number during more than 20 years under Saddam's rule and the number of victims during the last few (3) years ) in addition to the fact that Saddam used weapons sold to him by Ramsfield (Rubbishfield) the Minister of defence(or the Merchant of Vice) , , That he is the messenger of providence to scatter peace not to obtain Oil contracts , That he will attack Iran ( in his nightmare) , That he can do any harm to South Korea ( that really has Nuclear weapons) , that he is the only one who has the last decision about Iraq ( although this is not a democracy)
So I think that , he is hated due to his stubbornness, ignorance , and imbecility

He said on tv in 2005 that they get warrants for wiretaps. It was a flat out baldfaced lie. The NY Times called him out on it and he had to admit he signed an order shortly after 9/11 that allowed the NSA to illegally wiretap american citizens. The program has been declared unconstitutional once already but is on appeal. Want another? I've got lots.

There are wmds in iraq. iraq is tied to al-qaeda. We are going to help the victims of katrina. I support the troops (and then I cut their va beienfits and send them to war without proper equipment). I will give aid to the vitims of the tsunami. I did not cheat in the 2000 election. I did not know wehre osama was. I did not give speical contracts to haliburton. i ddi not know scooter libby and cheney leaked Valeri Plame. I care about african americans or hispanics. I will invest in creating hydrogen fueld cars. DO i need to go on? The better question would be why do republicans beleive that everytinhg he says is correct. Maybe its his apelike featuers. Or his unbelievele linguistic skills. Or his clicehd speeches. Or maybe its his ability to say somthing without syaing anything at all. Or my favorite to say smething and completley deny it and change tune the next week
