I asked about terrorism in India & pointed that everyone Indian has to worry about India 1st & not about the global terrorism. It's because since last 3 decades, India has been trying to globalize the issue & what exactly it got? More terror attacks, insecurity and innocent lives

Many answers which I received only advices to think "global terrorism" & not "only India". How bad!! Dr. Kalam asked a question about the Global terrorism & got around 20,000 answers (I mean advices) from our great Indian thinkers. It shows that we are not strikers, just thinkers with over 1 billion opinions. It is because we believe in easy sacrifice of the life, as if it’s very cheap for Indians.

Bush doesn't ask a question like what should we do about the global terrorism? He simply attacks. We are developing country (don't know when we will be "developed") & we have everything to strike back.

If I would get the chance to attack, I won’t care about the world. Save India first & then go to the rest of the world with the message of “Peace” like Americans……......Jai Hind...

Hmm... I think we do need to understand each other better.

Bush does ask some people things. He attends G7 meetings. People accused him of attacking Iraq just to get rid of Saddam, and that he would put another dictator in place. He listened, and tried out an experiment to try and satisfy them.

He may not of understood, but he listened.

I think you're right about solving India's problems first. More countries need to look home first, not just India. I don't think terror is the greatest problem India has to any degree, but I am an outsider.

As a Westerner I find it strange to see you talking in a language that is obviously not your own, and I wonder how much of a stumbling block that is to establishing a common dialog in India.

Strange to see a girl sooo agrressive!

In some sense u r right. We shud think about India, Mainly. But we cant (rather we shouldn't) do that at the cost of other country. It wont be any different than Americans. And what America is doing is definitely not right (they are paying the price and will continue to pay for it.) But in the name of terrorism we shouldn't just go on attacking any country, but we should attack terrorists and their bases. And definitely we dont fear to sacrifice our lives but it doesn't at all means that its cheap.

But for sure we have to be more aggressive than what we are now.

Jai Hind!

Totally agree with this noble thought. However, here is a point to ponder- during national crisis, the legislature in the US was totally with the government-on both sides of the house- as opposed to this,it is difficult to even get members of the same party together in India. Additionally, the notion of "nationhood" is still developing in India as compared to the US. Dare I say that the average american is more patriotic than the average Indian- in ways that do not demand a show of patriotism!- Simple things like public discipline, paying taxes, obeying laws, stopping at traffic signals, working for community, keeping cities clean- all these have latent patriotic theme. After all it is about caring about your fellow citizens! In contrast, who cares if a few people die on the streets in India, or if you burst crackers or hold wedding processions in front of schools or hospitals, or spit on the roads, throw ones garbage out!! We are like that only! Jai Hind!

You have mixed up two issues - the one about our domestic terrorism and the other global - which operate at different levels... Just because we have our domestic problem in a family for instance, we do not ignore the social participation, say casting vote in a local election.. Even so our problems within the country and participation in global issues are different.. Because we have our problems, we can not remain aloof from other roles outside our territory or domain of activity...

India had always the problem of addressing local dissent... If there are people who would like to take the stick, there are equal number who would like to adopt the "carrot and stick" policy... Even within the ruling parties down the years, the dichotomy always existed...

If one Gandhi could evict the haughty English rulers using non violent means, why could we not do with out own people fighting either for misplaced ambitions or actual justice denied? This finds favour with most people... The muslims do not agree with the violence taking place in the name of their religion (jehad) but they have no mind to vehemently oppose the outfits doing so... They always find excuses to the damage of these groups but bemoan the lives of terrorists killed in combat or caught and brought before the law!

The Congress combine at the centre is to blame for the lukewarm approach to fight terrorism eyeing the vote bank of some communities... For that matter even the BJP did not use all the powers under POTA effectively to curb terror... A double standard is clearly evident in the approaches of either Govts...

It is not fair to blame the people giving opinion on terror control as if the failures of the successive Govts are due to lack of public support in the right direction... It is also wrong to say that all the Americans support the terror control policy of Bush... There are points on all sides... and it is not easy to decry anyone side totally... Terror outfits are not one uniform group... there are classes of blood thirsty gangs as well as people who would only like to force a justice.. A case to case judgement would be fair but take us no where, since the all are in the game and you can not target them separately in a combat that includes a whole group of emotionally charged mix...

On a more philosophical view, the politicians who are also subscribers to violence to protect their postion and power, can not deal with terror groups (who have perhaps more worthy reasons for their bloody acts) with any moral authority... and as far as this morality is not earned, mere legal powers would not help them to combat violence from that quarter!

Yes I agree that we should work internally first & then care for the world.
We have problems for years in East ( Assam , Nagaland etc),
West (Gujrat has seen worst blood sheed) South-( Andhara has terrors),North - Kashmir has seen blood more than many nations have seen in wars.
We have to get to a permanent solutions. Our real problem is politics. We want to keep everyone happy instead of getting to route of the problem.
We have to take hard ( Un popular) decisions and implement them no matter what happens.

Yes we indians must react and act as full grown adults to take our own decisions unitedly and find answers rather than asking questions....but x-c dentally that will never happen as ours is a splitted society of thousands of faiths and languages the negative face of this is egoistic clash and zero unity of minds for a focused one united action. We with slave mentality will keep looking at others for help reflects impotence of this body called IN DI AH

Jai Hind
Chance to attack is not a correct time to attack according to 'Yuddha Niti' for detail (Ramayana yuddha kand , mahabharat , detail of world war etc. ... ).
Bush ko tel mangta hai..... (he is a BASTARD).
It is really bad about 20,000 answer's (advice)if there is no one is thrown by "TERRORIST" ,it will prove that they are following aimless job .
if they do having any aim that belongs to about what humanity can think otherwise we need to hammer on them .
we can divert ambitious terrorism towards rebel ism . that will make peaceful favourable environment.
strikers cant solve this they having short limitation . as i know the result of 'Chhattisgarh's' strikes against 'Naxlites' .
we need a well planned attack along with peaceful strike(s).

Global Terrorism is the root for weapon supplier network . it is on our wish 'ped pehle katna hai ya jad'.
well for your further question you must know Pervez mussarraf is also worried about this coz network link is more concentrated over pak ......

you can easily share your popcorn with pakistani people while watching cricket match between 'INDIA & PAKISTAN'.
Jai Hind.
