I have always thought it would be nice for my hubby to set up a nice picnic in front of the fire place while I was gone for a little bit and I would come home to a nice surprise. Sitting in front of the fireplace together on a comfortable rug or blanket is just way cozy. The most you would spend would be on the flowers and a small gift or card for her or him. Romance is not in the action but in the feeling of the moment and the setting.

Dump your other half....! No just kidding, how about a drive to a lovely lake, river, country. and a picnic strawberries and a nice bottle of wine. - i would love someone to surprise me with that. "smiles".
