Good, in comparison to what other schools?
It is reputable, but no, it's not Harvard.
ISU is a decent school. In Illinois, it does have less prestige than the U of Illinois in Champaign/Urbana, but it's a decent school.
They have some really interesting programs there, too. In art alone, they offer glassblowing and weaving, which are hard to find at most colleges.
I actually did a student exchange and went to ISU for a semester. I had a blast there. There's a nice social life on campus, and there are a decent number of activities and a wide variety of classes.

I think so. I graduated from there and I live in the town that it's in. My degree is in Medical Technology (also called Clinical Laboratory Science). It's a great town to live in too...at least I think so. ISU specializes in Teaching Degrees, but has also produced several well known names in Hollywood, they have a great Science and Mass Communications Dept. as well.
