Which is a better buy brand/model for 128MB card.

No. Thy are two totally different types of connections. It was a mistake to use PCI in describing the new form factor.
An nVidia FX6200 PCI 128MB card will serve you well.

No. PCI slot = PCI card. PCI Express slot = PCI Express card.

NVidia or ATI are both good.

pci an pci-e are 2 different slots. so no you cannot use a pci card in a pci-e slot. Nor can you use a pci-e card in a pci slot. check dis card out http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.aspx?EDC=1042719
