My husband and I just got married and are new to our area. Does anyone know of any online sites where we could look up and meet other couples to hang out with? We're not swingers or anything like that, we're just looking to make friends with other marrried couples in the area. Thanks!

This happens often, especially if the couple is young and just starting out in their lives and careers. Assuming the distance is great and the time, like University or a new Job, is just as great, It's really asking to much, to expect the love to last. Married people get divorced all the time, and they live side by side, which of course, may be the reason for the divorce. lol Other couples split up, love sadly, for most of us, is not eternal, but often fleeting. Although while we are in love, we believe it to be so. We all need company and companionship, and other people close to us. In long distance, you can always stay in touch, these days, but you still need some special person in your life, unless you intend to stay at home, with a good book or TV etc. Not the best way to spend ones life.

How about the Local YMCA?
my wife and I just joined.
it don't cost much and we have met a ton of good people
and that has only been a month ago
plus the exercise and pool, sauna, etc etc is great for the annual fees...check it out
church? if you are so inclined or volunteer in a local charity
or just hang out in some local watering hole...booze ...its not just for breakfast...lol
one more idea
i used to be a Moose, but there is the Elks, Masons, etc
most of these outfits are great for sociability

Here is a good start... How about at a local church? Do you know any married couples that you knew before marriage? Offer to be friends with them...

Why do you have to hang out exclusively with married couples? What do you like to do? Go out and do it. You'll meet people that way. It might not be married people, but jeez, no need to be prejudice.
